Look and Feel like Yourself
Vascular lesions are a type of common skin concern, affecting up to 50% of individuals aged 18 years and older. Furthermore, with over 40% of the population susceptible to pigmentary concerns, these conditions, whether chronic or cosmetic, can have a serious effect on people’s quality of life and well-being.
The award-winning excel V was developed based on feedback from leading physicians worldwide. A state of the art laser system that incorporates two proven wavelengths – 532 nm and 1064 nm – to address more than 20 unique indications on all skin type. The Excel V laser system features the broadest set of capabilities for treating the widest range of superficial to deep vascular conditions, benign pigmented lesions and skin revitalization concerns.
The combination of high-performance dual wavelengths (532/1064) and the proprietary long-pulsed Nd:YAG technology provides faster, more efficient clearing of targeted lesions.
The highly absorbed 532 nm wavelength has proven effective for a variety of on superficial vascular lesions. It is especially effective on conditions including:
The 1064 nm Nd:YAG wavelength expands treatment capabilities to include deeper darker vascular lesions including leg and periorbital veins as well as venous lakes and venous malformations. The Nd:YAG is also utilised to perform Cutera’s signature Laser Genesis procedure.
The amount of treatments you will need varies depending on the severity and depth of the veins. Other factors to consider are the cause of the veins and any other health issues associated to the vascular lesions. Most people will need between 1-3 treatments. The veins may reappear over time and may need to be retreated.
Your skin may appear blotchy, swollen and red post treatment and will feel quite warm. We recommend no exercise, sun exposure or heat treatments the week of your treatment and recommend you choose to do your treatment when you don’t have a special occasion planned within the week of your laser treatment.
Vascular laser starts from $300 per treatment.
